I already know this, man. If I could be guaranteed a job within a month, I would move there in a heartbeat. Also have family there, so that's a bonus. I have noticed that the very few times I've been around the racing crowd up there (a few years ago) that most of them were ignorant rice kids, or arrogant douche fags. Please tell me I just ran into a bad group, and that doesn't summarize the entire "scene" there.
I don't know, I avoid any type of "scene" and keep to myself.
There are cool domestic drivers that know what the fuck they're doing. There are douchebag domestic drivers that don't know what they're doing but think they do. There are a lot of rich fucks with expensive cars that think they own the streets but have never touched a wrench. There are tons of ricer fags, and some with clean boosted Honduhs. Some of everything. But, again, I stay away from it all, because there's always at least one idiot in the crowd that annoys the piss out of me. My boss is into the whole pro-mod/mustang/corvette crap and pokes fun at my "ricer" car, but only does it for lulz and doesn't mean disrespect, although his vehicles would stomp the shit out of mine.
Oh, also we have the Twickenham group of folks that do the whole autox/scca type thing. From what I hear they are good people, but I haven't hung around the group to know. There's also an S2K "club" here, but I don't have an s2000 so haven't dealt them...but would like to believe they're decent people. You will find douchebags anywhere that people have cars.
