for the money, they are one of the best bang for your buck cars, i think.

The only Porsche I'd by because it has the engine is in the front, water cooled, turbo optioned and does not look like a jumped-up Bettle. ;D

Engine swaps fix slow, not ugly. They also make them more rear-heavy, so in many cases worse for handling.

Although if you ask Johnny, putting weight over the rear is pure win. Fast cars are all RWD & only have to go straight.

i belive the weight dist. in those is 48/52 front/rear.
they also have a front mount stock, and it has an aux water pump for after the engine is off to cool the turb

they also have a front mount stock that does nothing to cool the charge, and it has an aux water pump for after the engine is off to cool the turbo before shitting itself.

Fixored.

944s aren't ugly.

I believe mr. profile was referring to the unsightly nature of the beetle.

951s

Are a waste of money for 35hp.

Ive long debated dropping an LSx or L33 into mine, but im not paying the insane prices those fucks at renegade want for their adapter plates. I need a CNC mill.

I don't need proof. I've pulled enough spark plugs out of em and seen the results first hand. If those motors wernt forged from the factory it be a joke. The ic gets no airflow, same deal with the radiator. Best mod you can do to a 951 is take the front bumper cover off lol.

Btw those aux water pumps ARE junk. They leak around the seam of the plastic casing. Got two laying under the tool box.

i dont think they would put one on if it was useless, yes its not in the best place, but you can get that nose piece vent to improve flow.
and as far as the water pumps, ive never had a problem or heard of anyone else untill you

ROBBERTO my point was that the 951 was better looking aestheticly IMO... Thought they had a slightly better suspension too???  Either way anything short of a 2J or LSX is fail in one

because you cant get that package anywhere else for the price. most of us here payed thousands for a 16-17 second 90s shitbox that cant handle for shit, and cost alot more to get the same power, without the torque or top end mph or RWD.
i suppose a old supra turbo is about the same, but those are ugly as fuck, imo

I could spend days listing off things that OEMs have purposely engineered yet in the real world were useless.  Want a Porsche-specific example?  Hell, look at anything about the 928 if not the vehicle as a whole.

Gas mileage aside, how much would you have to pay for perfect working order, freshly painted 60's mustang or Camaro?

(And don't tell me you could one from the 90s or 80s for cheap, because they are no where near as pretty)

4800 starting to like like a better deal yet?  Also porsche = baller status, even if its old.

Also, 30+ mpg is nice when driving 50+ miles daily.

BTW every day I've driven it so far I have atleast one person try and race me lol.  It gets noticed.

as far as I know the domestic options can't handle as well, only one I can think if is a vette and those older ones are gay, newer ones too expensive.
