They use to cook them in lard oil until people started bitching about them being unhealthy. How would have thought fries where not a health food? McDonalds now uses a artificial flavoring in their oil to simulate the flavor. They use artificial flavorings in almost every single thing the sell. I love checkers, there arent anywhere near me but when I visit my parents I grab some fries and some spicy chicken strips.  That place is badass.  If youre ever on rt37 in jersey there is a checkers right next to a White Castle for the ultimate combo.

I did have Long John Silver's Tuesday night. Power was out at home so I left to start my route early, had 45 minutes to kill.

actually it was a chicken sandwich, and its not suprising. it was cooked in deep fryer with like 300 degree oil at a pretty high pressure. that will kill any bacteria/germ. once it dries out it will look exactly the same untill its rehydrated and bacteria get to it again.

why do you think beef jerky doesnt go bad.

When i'm in the mood for fries really nothing tastes like "french fries" more then mc d's. It's just the way i think they should be and taste. But don't get me wrong "5 guys" style fries are awesome.

I love Five Guys' burgers and don't know of a better place to get a burger for a reasonable price "fast" anywhere else here, but I've never seen what the big deal is about their fries.  They're good, but not anything special IMO.

In Chicago there are maxwell streets well theres only one the rest are "stations" best damn food at night. plus you get free fries with every sandwich. so get 2 hotdogs get 2 fries free and they are awesome fries and its like 2 little bags of fries and a big scoop in the bottom of the big bag you get everything in plus its like 4$ to get stuffed
