The start of a sleeper Updated 2/13/2012
« on: August 23, 2010, 03:50:44 PM »

So a little while back I pick up this 94 4dr ex, pick it up for $500 with the intent to use it as my DD. I pick it up with a good running high mileage z6. The only bad stuff with the car was a blown auto, and the interior smelled super rank :-X.

Over the next few days I rip out the hole interior and super clean it. At the same time I started looking around for a cheap auto trans. I couldn't find anything cheap/clean. Also the thought of driving a auto D didnt sit right.

I started to think why not convert the civic and throw my built motor into it since the crx was a long way from getting onto the road. The best part of this was I had just about everything to convert it. So the start of a sleeper started, well onto the pic's.

Day I got it.

Had some 3d euros :-X, I replace with some 50/50 I had around.

Forgot about the 2tone........

New motor before going in.

You can never have enough blood during a build. While wheel owns

Motor is in and running, just need newer pic's.

Decapping injectors.

More updates to come as I build a ac/ps friendly mani. Turbo will be my Hx-35.

I have h&r spring & struts on my crx from a 91 teg. It had the teg dropped about 3"ish But on my crx its just under 1.5"

I would take a guess and say it would drop your 4door a good 3"+
But I would say fuck it throw it on and see how it turns out. You can always change it back.
