Ok so I finally picked up a car to turbo. I had that SOHC d16a6 all ready to go but then I came across this thing for cheap. The shitty part is that the guy dropped an LS non-vtec in it. I have heard that stock ls's turbo pretty well though as long as you keep the boost down to around 10 psi (correct me if Im wrong) Heres what I got for $1900:

I picked that up on Sunday, yesterday I came across a killer deal. An HX-35 completely rebuilt with 0 miles on it, for $200.





I figured I would salvage as much as I could from my d16 build (intercooler, piping, wastegate, BOV, etc.) and have fun with this one. So Im picking up a cast iron manifold tommorow because this turbo is so damn heavy (im gonna brace it anyway). All I need now is injectors, boost controller, oil line kit (im gonna hit up stealthmode), random shit for vacuum lines and other shit i cant remember. So I know there isn't much in the way of pictures but its a start. Id like to hear what you guys have to say about running this HX on a stock LS.
