Try to defend an anti-Walmart mentality to a single mother whose stance is "Wal-mart fed my family when I was poor, excuse me but not everyone can afford your morality."
Sorry JD, but I'm of the firm belief that the China Mart mentality of buying the cheapest shit we can get is a good part of what is bringing this country down.
That single mother also has numerous other options to feed her family, even cheaper then walmart.

I wasn't talking about buying every single piece of shoddily made plastic in the place; it makes no sense to buy the same item at half price five times when you could buy the non-china quality item once. That's consumer ignorance, and nothing more. I was talking about
feeding your family.
I remember eating one meal a day during one summer, like a can of corn or something, because my mother was too proud to be a beggar.
I also know the local "Hearts with Hands" ministry has everyone driving around in new Cadillacs, building all sorts of new real estate, and then not paying for their warehouse space (the whole time trying to talk the warehouse owner into "giving" them the use of the space, or preferrably the whole warehouse) until the owner starts eviction proceedings because they don't fucking listen to the english language. The mentality of giving according to need, aka communism, isn't an answer. Those who feel entitled to get something for nothing will always leech instead of work, as long as they are tolerated.
