fuel pump sizing 600+ on e85
« on: October 04, 2010, 08:06:01 PM »

i just read a lot of this
http://www.stealth316.com/2-fuelpumpguide.htm

heres why, im  want to hit over 600 on e85, i know a single walbro 255 wont do it.but i dont want to buy the fucking $400 hanger and another walbro.
i dont want to sump the tank.
i would really like to do it on a big single pump like from a ttsupra or tt300zx i see the supras flows best for the money, but is it really enough?

or do i just throw one inline? after the intank?
what would you guys do?

you wont make 600 on e85 with the walbro intank and the inline 044.

twin 044s is more in line with your goals

no a inline setup isnt going to work. you need to sump the tank and run 2 044s feeding a -8 fuel line to the rail.

FIC has a high imp 1100's, 1600's, and 2150's.   If you decide you want some LMK. I hook it up pretty good on FIC products.

The injectors you linked from 5-0 motorsports are essential what efi wizard sells. Modified Densos, IMO they work but not up to par with the bosch's.

Everyone is saying 2 walbros wont work for 600hp on e85, i disagree with that.

i think two walbros would work but just for 600 anymore and depending in base fuel pressure. idk how much farther they would flow. and they would be on 13+ volts on 10 ga. but maybe i will run with the walbro i have and run a 044 and some 1600 and see how far i can get!
with the fic's what height are they? are they going to need bushings?
