The Red Riding Series from the UK is another I hope that does not get fucked when made here. Already talking about having the story take place in the MidWest US instead of the North in the UK.

Re-watching right now for the 4th time and yeah if you are not us to British speak it could be a bit get through.

There is a lot of hidden detail. The main thing is the corruption of the police force. And how murder cases can be screwed up.

The twist on the Red Riding hood, with a wolf, badger, pig, and owl are the nicknames of the Yorkshire police officers.

The best of the three is 1983, but it you have to watch all of them to understand there is some really twisted shit.

These movies were made for late night TV.
