Trying to get out of every single dollar bill I have since the USD will only plummet in the future.

I've been buying through APMEX with every check I buy what I would normally set aside.

I would like to buy gold but honestly the amount I set aside cant keep up with how fast gold grows. by the time I saved 1300 to buy 1oz it went up to 1600 per oz

If the world is going to come to some cataclysmic end and all that will be worth anything is going to be precious metals then why are people so gladly taking the DOLLARS AND CENTS that are "worth nothing" in trade for this precious metal?

Money is money, it's value goes up and down constantly, it has been going down for quite a while now, but the fact is it will go back up eventually, and when it does the price of precious metals will fall again.

they take it in when they need to pay for large items the USD will ,over a longer period, never go up in value, it will fluctuate, but no way in hell will it go up short of some miracle.

Food, ammo, water, fuel, firearms, drugs... pain killers antibiotics INSULIN..... (legal and illegal). THATS what will be worth a shit, especially when if you want gold, you can go take it. those things are already covered by myself and my dad we have a diesel car, heat with wood, good supply of guns and ammo (leftovers from the ethnic cleansing) and we live in the woods next to a fresh water spring, along with a lot of 50g drums filled with water

reason I want to buy it is its like oil, it get used in industly a LOT. Most high tech items, tv's, mirrors, a ton of medical supplies ect

with the world population exploding the up and comers want the same shit the US has, it will drive the price way up sooner or later. There really arent any new mines poping up its just a biproduct of heavy metal mining at this point.

I've purchased a few $100 face lots of junk silver off ebay a few times when the price was $14/ounce.  My local coin store charges $1.50 over spot, which isn't a bad deal when it hits good lows in the middle of the day.

Oh I know a few tricks with aluminum foil... As a catalyst, reactant and means of abusing what you've synthesized....    However I wont wear it on my head like most "preparedness" minded folk. 

Water, food, shelter, Guns, Ammo, and about 20 BIC lighters... (In just about that order The rest, (you can find barter or take) Will fall in place.  Behind those.

That said bald one, I could think of MUCH worse company to have around than you in a SHTF situation.

oh I agree its not much at all to invest, I just want something to buy a little at a time since cash seems to be diminishing faster then it can be saved up for a decent investment.

The longer you wait the less money you make.  They aint makin anymore gold.  They gotta mine that shit.  The only way it can go down is if supply goes up or demand goes down.  Either way... buy more.  People love gold, always have, and always will.
