Damn you fag. Get the Transformer. Galaxy Tab is prettier but that's about it. Basically same specs, except Transformer has an HDMI out port (play games/videos on tv), memory card slot, USB port (use 360 controller -- emulator + games + hdmi out + 360 controller hint hint). $250.

I bought the new Xbox 360 + 250gb hdd + Halo Reach + Fable 3 for $200 on BestBuy online. Get 4% back from my bank for using my credit card at BestBuy, 250gb vs my 20gb, new model vs my old one, wireless (which I need for living room) vs my wired, quieter/cooler/more efficient, and it doesn't look like it was pulled out of the dumpster like my old one. Old one will be kept in my smoking/recreation/linux server room for in-home lan gaming.

i posted that before i found the transformer for 250bucks... also, it doesnt have a full USB... and i dont have an xbox.

touche, ports are on the dock. You don't need a 360 to have a 360 controller. They're great for emulators on PC.

Got a 42" Sharp from BestBuy... we waited in line from 9pm to 10:30 and they told us they sold out of tickets.. Well if you don't pick it up by 4am they sell it. Went home, napped, then went and got the last one in the store at 4 awwww yeeeeaaa. Then I got some 22lr from Gander Mountain for good measure, a ladder from Lowes, and a Bluray from hhgregg.

Newegg fucked me today. Have been planning to put together a new home theater with some Polk Audio speakers since my living room is home-theater-less and they had a good deal on the speakers.

Saved $570 on that shit. They aren't as good as what I originally wanted, but they're close enough I probably won't be able to tell a difference.

The subs on the other hand, I wanted 2 x Polk PSW505 ($230 each) and they had the PSW10 for $90, but the PSW10s are generally regarded as junk while the PSW505 gets good reviews.

Now to watch them collect dust until taxes come in and I feel like buying the subs, receiver, and projector...

Got the cars engine back together, just have to put the manifold and turbo back on it. DId the valves and put the cover on her this afternoon.

New HG, remachined the head surface and had the head pressure tested, oil change and new wastegate dump setup. All done. will be doing a new upper coldside chargepipe later in the weekend or nextr week.

Yup... it's a pretty snazzy TV. I plugged it into the wall to make sure it worked.. found out we get local channels in HD. The damn cable box on our other TV doesn't even give us those. Everyone who got a ticket picked up their TV before 4am but they got one extra that they didn't give a ticket for in case one of the others was damaged.

The cable in this house is fucked up and noisy. Should I pull the ground off the splitter on the side of the house? Methinks it is causing a ground loop.

Yup, ground loop. Taking the ground off improved the clarity on the TVs in the far end of the house. I'm betting the ground is the electrical ground and not a separate one.

2 splitters.. one on the house (4 way) and one in the kitchen to get to our bedroom (2 way). I have tested in both back rooms, one is a leg of the 4 way and the other is a leg of the 2 way which gets a feed off one of the 4 way legs. Both got significantly clearer when I removed the ground. I might just need to put another ground rod out in the yard.
