i stripped my grey hatch after a slick blow out  and put it all in a rust free shell that i repainted and restored from ground up.

i bought two teal civics from florida, on was totaled in the front. yanked the good parts, stripped the good one and got started. i basically combined the three cars into on nice one.
loading shell bringing it to shop

after i got it to the shop i yanked the dpfi engine and auto tranny out and stripped the interior.

i also pulled the whole body harness out to transfer my old mpfi obd1 converted one in.

anywho back to the build

nothing like starting with straight rust free quarter panels

i then started test fitting body parts,

grabbed a torch and installed blox rear control arms.

this is how it looked as i rolled it in and out of the shop to work on it in the evenings

i then started the engine and suspension swap

built poor mans type r, precision 780s, holset turbo on 15 psi, 4 inch open downpipe
skunk2 coil over sleeves, rear drag springs, innovative competition traction bars

i then started on the interior, redyed doorpanels, carpet, and all interior trim black. wrapped headliner in teal plaid, si rear seat, my front si seats were haggard so i picked up some mint clean crx si seats on craigs list, welded up some brackets and mounted em
.

i mocked the rest of the body together and just wasn't satisfied with the original paint.

my friends dad had bought a brand new hood for his sedan on craigslist. needless to say he got hosed and it was a hatch hood. since he had no use for it, he sold it to me for 40 bucks.

i laid some high build primer on it ,the fenders, and front filler panel after working some dents.

i cut the front bumper for the intercooler and fixed alot of gouges and chips.

So you didn't brace anything when you had the fenders off?  Is this your first ED chassis?

Blurry pics are pissing me off.

 >:(

Man I want a fresh coat of paint on my shitbox.

I dislike the monochrome paint scheme.

That looks like Tahitian Green, so I just might approve.

Your pronz content needs some work, but you get a couple of brownie points for posting redheads.

Fucking gingers.  It must be because they have no soul that we (some of us) like them.

Wait, is it wrong to call an attractive(fuckable) redhead female a ginger?

It is very wrong, Gingers are male redheads or carpenter's dream of redheads.

Flat as board, easy to nail.  :noel:

Even though teal is a transexual color, as the Grand Wizard stated earlier, at least you used an OEM color.
