1988 Mitsubishi montero, turbo options?
« on: January 04, 2012, 08:14:04 PM »

So my father loves to go in the mountains to shoot or just to offroad somewhat. I know he's pretty bored with the power and wants to up it some. Anyone know some good options for it boosted or not?

If its a 6g72, I say get 2 tdo4's, make 2 logs, dp's and chargepipes. Then use the 3kgt ecu. Seems easy enough

If you can make some plates, bolt on an M90, snag an FMU, and go to town.

Secksypeepee hit it on the head, its a 6g, turbo swap it with two mitsu 13g's from auto 1g dsm's. you'll be raping drivetrain in no time flat, can make or buy stock cast manifolds and bolt it up.

If he's looking for grunt, a 14B will be great on it.

It's a common upgrade for the 2.6 in the conquest and gives you instaspool.
