I think he means stock shortblock. So barely stock. IMO kinda silly to do if there's no prize involved, since you're already bought a shitload of expensive parts for everything else.

At least regap the rings, that would still be stock.

left the trans install alone today, i did notch the bell housing to accept the s2000 starter and just stripped the bay and pulled the head and rear end out not to bad for 3 hrs now im going shooting, head should be done earlie next week with valves, guides and seals and springs along with punching the head stud holes out bigger to accept the L19 studs, should go together fast after that cause all the drive train will be in tomorrow so only thing left is manifold fab piping and exhaust

thanks it coming along quick whole drive line will be done tomorrow so only thing left is assemble engine back and all the manifold/exhaust shit then tune then shit stomp evos and mustangs

Duel pump hanger with twin 390's installed, Eaton LSD and richmond 3.96  gear set installed in the 8.8 rear,also all mounts bolted up ,and the 5.9 axles showed finally so should be in the car very shortly ,also got my slicks mounted up shits look way to good
