had a friend ask me this tonight.  i didn't know, so i figured this is the only place to ask and get the correct answer. fuck google search

whats needed if it will work?

JB and no oil or coolant it might work. other then that ur fucked. basically nothing lines up and u owe me a 6 pack of keystone for wasting my time  :noel:

Seen it done to a a6 block over on d-series; but I dont recall what that person did.

The head bolt hols and passages are off a bit.
takes a lot of machining and shit

Not worth it imo.

Just use the Y8 or swap an LS in there.
The only reason why we used to use dohc zc's were because nobody wanted to but mounts for an ef.

Having to totally re-engineer a $5 cookie cutter car is stupid when there are already $5 go fast parts on the shelves for them is a complete waste of time.

Bam, D16A1 in my old ED.  I probably would never do it again though.  Might as well just boost the shit out of the stock motor.
