single slam turbo. It was at 180whp at the time, now im a hair over 200. Ill repost the set up over here from the OHMT someday but its run of the mill HMT set up nothin special.
Somethin new is on the way for this season anyway

decent hatch, if you need sideskirts i can give you my EG ones for free since i have EK ones on mine.

off a 4dr so im not sure if they will fit your hatch

nice run either way needs a little more work and will be a sick hatch

Not around here I beat a "Stage 2" SRT-4 with my VAFC tuned Supercharged D16z6 without a whole lot of trouble.

Then again it could have been the SRT-4 was driven by a unskilled dude who thought he could just buy his speed. ;D

i rememeber raping a first year (the really slow ones) srt-4 in a N/A ES 300 (bloated v6 camry) when they first came out. if a 3400lbs+ sub 260hp v6 sedan can take out an early srt-4 why cant your 180whp 2100lb car smack a newer one lol

I guess that's why every last one of them, locally, is significantly faster than LS1 F-body from any sort of roll? Just like any other make the owners are mostly dullards who can't change their own oil, but cutting out cats/actuator/boost controller on a stage nothing otherwise stock SRT4 is hard to fuck up, and nets ~300 whp on Mustang dynos.

No, there's a handful.
regardless of how fast they can run modified stock 2003 srt-4's are relatively slow. they run in stock / bearly modified v6 territory 5.5-6.5s to 60 14s ish 1/4 mile passes. at the time, mine was was still N/A, but it wasn't lame bolt-ons.

I've seen some really surprising races in my time, and I've no doubt an ES300 can be faster than a stock - or, very likely, poorly modified - first year SRT4. My point, poorly phrased, was it is a lot easier and a lot cheaper to make the SRT4 decidedly faster than an ES300. So don't go betting titles.

you guys act like 03 SRT4s are so much slower then 04-05. the difference between the two is MAYBE 3 tenth in the quarter best for best, most of which can be attributed to the fact that 04-05 had an LSD in the transmission. they dynoed a whopping 10-15 whp more then 03's.

bottom line is equally driven stock for stock there isnt an es300 in existence thats faster then even a "first year" SRT4. even the newest ones are mid 14's at best.

I can't say I've been in a stock one to know. Tuned one with a Hahn 20G setup, two with .50 T3/T04E, and rode one time in Hammy's 309 whp stage 0 on crack.

bone stock srt4 besides ported intake manifold/60mm rpm throttle body ran 13.70's in las vegas which is a slow track. For the price the car is nasty

ive owned one, and have friends that have owned 04's and 05's

you really can fuck an srt up if its not modded right, they are really picky. some people make retarded power with a few stupid mods some people make no power with every mod. mine made 270/311 with intake, 3" turbo back and a boost controller.

i knew what/how you meant it. i meant it the same way. there are very few modified anything on the entire v6 camry platform. and yes srt-4's, like about any stock turbo car are sick potential for very little investment to mod them.

all i meant was that alot of srt-4's are practically as fast as v6 sedans that have been out awhile.

my ass dyno must be off then cuz im driving an 05 camry and it feels in nowhere near 14 seconds. That 14.2 for the SRT sounds pretty damn close tho, i ran the same at 101.

The last ebay-turbo D16Z6 I tuned, full-weight & steelies I might add, did 14.2 first time to the track. That's also with the dizzy giving 13* timing max. The whole car/setup cost less than what you loose in financing & depreciation on any SRT4.

yeah and thats also what he tols me but when i smoked hime for the 100$ a gear he wanted to bet and never paid me after 3 races he said after the first 2 times i out ran him he missed 3rd gear and then he left and i have never seen or heard from him since
