Last year: 542hp, 81mm ls/v, Precision 62/66 street/strip. Best of 10.97@134

This year: Added fully build Ferrea head and Sheepey spec Web cams

The idle, or lack of it. Haven't gotten it lower than 1800 yet.

Then got it on the dyno yesterday. I'm pretty good with the results. 713hp/473tq @ 35psi

I already went through the blown tranny phase. lol I'm noe running heat treated gears, carbon synchros, wavetrac lsd, and the speed factory gear change assembly.

Last year was same turbo, S300, and also E85, but I ran out of 1000cc injector @ 542. Now I'm running 2000cc injectors, exedy twin disc and the head/cams upgrade.

Probably hit the track in a couple weeks or so. The RacerSteve guy on Honda-tech heat treated the gears.

It IS alot more cam than I need for 700, but when we parted out the FBM drag car last year I was told I could take whatever, so I went for the head/cams.

Went for an afternoon cruise today. Always fun just to take off and drive a little.

Found myself headed out to an old hot rod friends house to check in with the car. And also to check out what's going on in his "Jay Leno Jr." barn in the backyard.

Always fun to stop by. 72 yr old guy who's never owned a computer and the Honda death machine always seems to amaze him. lol. But, his collection and love for cars deserves mad respect.

I'm having trouble scheduling track days this year because I'm trying to schedule my sons first jr dragster season too, and he's never driven the car yet.

Next weekend- Get him in the car in a big church parking lot and get him familiar with the car, and steering, etc...

May 25th- Jr dragster to Grove Creek Raceway (1/8th mile track) for first track experience.

June 8th- Take my car to Rock Falls, Wi for testing. It's a garbage track, but must take it out once before our big Mn race. (Proving Grounds)

June 16th- Jr Dragster race for a Wally at Grove Creek. Can't imagine 2nd race day in the car he'll win, but we'll be fully into the jr dragster racing going to this day.

June 21-23- MAP's Proving Grounds (Minnesotas big Import race of the year) I took 2nd in my class last year because of a bent shift change assembly, and I plan on running shit this year.

After those dates for the big race in our state for his and mine, we're free to go wherever for the rest of the year. Sucks trying to focus on business/money between race weekends, but we'll get it figured out. /about that lifestyle

The idle after warm is hovering in the 2100 range. I played with the screw today to see if I could get it to go lower after finding a vac line blown off one of the T's. Pinched the vac line going to map and boost gauge and it settled down, so I'll be replacing that and hopefully can set the idle lower and have it stable.
