dyno renting in WA
« on: December 09, 2013, 07:02:48 PM »

I have been trying to track down a dyno I can't rent before shipping off to Germany. Everywhere I seem to look is either closed or has sold it. Where do you guys go or know of one being located. I will be living in the Everett area and so far the way only one I have found is in Auburn.

I have 2 weeks before the car needs to be shipped.

Ok, so what's wrong with crome? I know lots of people that have successfully made big power and good drivabilty on crome.

it sucks? i know people that have made good power and lasted long time on AFC's...rising rate regulators, and other homo ass bandaid's of engine management...

but thats not what concerns me about his posts... he said he was tuning the car, so what does the shop only tuning with whatever make a difference? i would barely trust most shops to even strap down my car, sure as hell aint touching a laptop hooked to my car...

Ask leed what he thinks of crome? He will tell u its a solid system. He likes it a lot. Says it has its bugs, but he said he will always have love for crome. Just because you have a shitty experience setting up/using crome doesn't mean that its a shitty system. You seem to have a hard time setting up and using any system that isn't aem. At any rate. Speed factory rents there dyno without tuning if you want. You just have to tell them that you want to do the tuning.

EK nor the VR4 want to run on AEM... box's do look pretty sitting here tho..  :-\

they all have flaws and strong points. comes down to a tune from someone that knows the software. i feel its hard to navigate and find shit. and its oem adjust ability.

aem is infinite adjustments... thats both good and bad lol.

I just don't like chrome that's all. I get more features with Ectune. I'm heading down to Richtuned in Auburn, its only 75/hour.

Crome is complete shit.  These are the words of a man who has been forced to help cheap fucks make it work.  Yes, I am a cheap fuck, but I dont expect other people to do shit for me.

Just because something works doesnt mean there isnt something way way way better to do the same job.  I am sure Rich would agree there are better options out there.

Crome still sucks.

Looks like I am reading that all wrong.  He tuned it on eCtune?  Thats what I use on my personal cars.  Love the software.

yes i love ectune as well and thats what he tuned my car with. He isnt a dealer so if you want him to tune with it you need to have the program.
