wow i haven't been here in a while, still notice quite a few familiar names, I haven't had a fast car in a long time, long long time.  Maybe one day i'll get a c6 z06 cuz i got a hardon for the ls7, but that'll be a way off.  I got in to fishing, hard.  Started sport fishing for all the shit around here, california halibut, king salmon, white sturgeon, whatever.  Eventually gave that up cuz i figured I gotta get paid to do this shit.  One option is run charters and babysit a bunch of drunk fucks as they lose fish, or go commercial and sell the fish i catch.  So i bought a commercial salmon boat.  This shit is awesome.  its a 25' 10k+# heavy ass bitch.  Slow as fuck, but can carry a whole lot of weight, which is what matters in this game.  Powered by a volvo penta d4-210 turbo diesel.  I've looked into chipping it but with a engine that costs 25k to buy a replacement i figure I'm better off just not fucking with it.  boat is set up with hydraulic fishing gurdies, outriggers, blah blah blah who cares, i'll post some pictures because no one wants to read shit, just look at pictures.  fuck words, pictures rock.

oh yeah, i bought a 08 tundra 4x4 a few years ago to pull the old boat i had, i need to get a damn diesel soon.  not sure what one i should go with, figure that out later.

its fun as hell when its good fishing, making money doing what I would normally be paying money to do.  each fish is worth $100 give or take 30 bucks.  I am still learning and didnt happen in to any amazing bites this year, some buddies had 60-80fish days though.  Fishing 5 months out of the year and sitting back and fishing for fun the rest of it.

The only shitty part about it is the long fucking hours, 3-5 hours of sleep a night, running on caffeine, adrenaline, and nicotine.  And then there is the fucked up weather, had some long ass clenching rides before, that shit sucks.

Good to see your still alive. I fished a couple summers on a commercial boat in Alaska. Not mush fun but for 6 weeks of fishing I was making 10-15k Not to bad when your still in high school.

I didn't know you guys had halibut down there. Thought it was a norther cold water fish. The ones up here are huge though. Like from 50 to 200lbs.

We get small california halibut 5-20# avg. the ones up north are pacific halibut, much bigger.
