installed and seem to have issues with it. Interested in doing more since i paid to be a dealer many moons ago and cant use this thing anymore.

Installation Instructions.

1. Install eCtune and run force update (must be run in administrator mode)
2. Delete original eCtune.exe file.
3. Copy eCtune.exe and License.xml from archive to install directory (default c:\Program Files\eCtune\)
4. Run eCtune.exe
5. On the toolbar click Emulator and Connect (Ctrl+Shift+E)
6. Click Moates Emulator Info
7. Copy the Serial ID
8. Open License.xml file with notepad
9. Paste Serial ID in Ostrich field <License Ostrich0="B311CF0FD03767CA" />
10. Save License.xml and close
11. Restart eCtune Program
12. Click Moates Emulator Info
13. Click Request Lic

Your Moates Ostrich should now be registered to eCtune. - you can have up to 10 Ostrii registered at any time.
You can test that its working by creating a new base map and then Ctrl+Shift+P Put Base Rom and Calibration, and then Ctrl+Shift+V Verify Rom

Have to edit exp date in license xml to prevent error, too.

Ostrich will need flashed with eCtune compatible firmware, unless Tuner version.

Ran setup
Did not run update
Copied eCtune Tuner over top of installed eCtune
Copied eCtune Keygen to installed eCtune directory
Patched eCtune, set up Tuner license
Couldn't figure out how to edit license.xml date so set computer date back to same date as unpatched eCtune.exe
Turned off internet connection so couldn't phone home
Ran eCtune-patched.exe

It looks like it works, can open/edit/save as binary/etc. I don't have an Ostrich or anything, but can save binaries, etc. Am told Tuner version doesn't need special Ostrich firmware.

I dont recall having to tun the firmware but i do remember they had it out. I used both my ostriches with no firmware and if you can do bin then you are golden.

Firmware is for Pro version, so is editing the license.xml

Still have no luck with this working on my end. But i did notice the date change in the license after running the Keygen.

If you just want Pro version, the ectune.exe/license.xml in the Crack dir of the Google Drive link was done by someone else and doesn't use the keygen/patcher utility at all. Drag and drop it over your installed directory, edit the license.xm in Notepadl (which is not obsfucated for Pro), and eCtune will run. You will have to grab your Ostrich/Demon's serial number in eCtune and edit the license.xml again for it to read/write, which requires eCtune to be shut down and restarted as well.

As far as Tu er, just run the provided setup, copy over Tuner files snd directories, and run the keygen/patcher to generate the modified eCtune-patched.exe and license.xml. at this point, the internet MUST be off, system date set back to the month of the unpatched Tuner binary (mine was 12/1/2010, I used runasdate.exe to launch it set as 12/5/2015), and it works. HOWEVER the setup will lock if you:

- run the unpatched ectune.exe
- do not set back the system date, or use runasdate.exe to do so for you
- allow ectune-patched.exe to connect to the internet

If you fuck up, requires a system restore or a reinstall of windows to scrub the system of however eCtune marks things.

i got the ostrich version working but couldnt figure out the pro version to be able to save bins again or burn chips. Also was able to open and change the license in the instructions.

Hi nignog, I already had the Pro (ostrich) version working, but i'm not able to turn it to dealer: can't find the dealer version in the files you've posted.
eCtune.Tuner.Update.0023r19.rar is password protected, is it there?

ectune site has been down for a while. I'm still getting licenses through email from Harris. Im sure at some point it will stop as its a pita for no money.
