Hey names ryan i have been lurking around since 2006. Use to come here couple times a day bought some of my parts from people on here.
Quick run down of my shit box 90si hatch a6 bottom end with tt rods and srp pistons stock y8 head z6 intake b16tb. Brms mani 57 trim t3 jonnyracecar 7inch fmic tial wg n bov halman boost controller Neptune rtp. 880 injectors 255 or 195 pump
Problem iam having is i can not build boost over 7psi with a fmic on the car. Install a straight pipe and ill build all the boost i want.
Things iv tryed,checked or just plain bought new.fmic changed and check, vac leaks none present, ic pipes all welds and clamps couplers are good n sealed, wg spring and fire ring are present and correct. Correct plugs and gapped right The car runs smooth does not break up while under a load
Any idea or things i could be missing? Somthing in my tume/basemap?

Found the problem. Bought a turbo from blasst performance years ago for my build tdo4e or h hybrid .57 trim turns out the sold me idi 7.3 6.9 turbo. Turbo wheels were designed to only build a max boost of 7-8 pounds. So time to find a new turbo to finally finish this build.

i highly doubt that turbo is only capable of 8psi on whatever motor you're putting it on

Mnnnn.... jrc fmic was a thing of beauty. Worked so well for me on the low boost setup. Was fucking great.
