Been a long while since I posted here.

Picked up a SC300 with 2jzge . Would like to manual swap and turbokit on the cheap.
Turbokit can be pieced together on the cheap but manual swap expensive af. It’s going to be about 5-6k.I found out some guys from across the pond cut and weld bell housing. Anyone done this? Not much detail on figuring out spacing and flywheel/clutch setup.

Certainly cheaper than the bellhousing conversions I've seen but it would definitely take up more space.  I know I can get a custom driveshaft local for less than $650+whatever shipping is

When I see mention of turboing a n/a 2J in a Lexus/Toyota, all I can think is Yuri turboing a IS300 super cheap.
And the mayhem that IS300 forum going nutz.

Bought a “CD009” but it’s a CD008.

Man those kits starts adding up when you checkout. I just want this to be on the cheap for street car.

Cut/weld is really popular over the pond. A lot of drifters abuse the hell out of it.

yes he did, he doesn't post as much do to his work restrictions
