One way of doing it is sliding one foot out of a shoe without them noticing, The audience has to be at a certain viewpoint for it to work, they can't be surrounding you, Then your free foot goes outside/next to the empty shoe, and you squeeze your heel against it. Tip toe with your free foot keeping pressure against the empty shoe in the middle and your other foot (still in the other shoe) that you are also raising during this.

watch close enough and you can see or catch most of the tricks especially on tv. some of them are pretty fucking amazing illusions though you have to hand it to them. some just don't really make sense. its entertainment, you get what you want out of it.
