I am downloading my ass off right now and I get a fucking chubby when i look up at my bit torrent console to see it grabbin shit at a rate of 1444 kbs.  I was like Holy Fuck.  shits rollin so hard core after it goes for about 3 minutes the damn console wont even come up just a field of white lol.  Look at the rate at the top

Not bad. I pay $45 for my 10 megabit line and $30 for the 5 megabit line through Charter, no major complaints.

Im pretty sure the rate is supposed to be 3 megs for 29.99 a month.  might be like 1.5 megs but my shit aint capped for whatever reason.  My only guess is since i am literaly 2 blocks from where it all goes fiber anyway, there isnt really shit in the way you know.

Comcast here is 8mb for over $60 a month.

Fortunately I have Mediacom which is a pretty small company.  20mbps for $60 a month.

Yes, downloading so fast that your harddrive can't keep up is awesome :)  HDD has a pretty fast read/write rate compared to the speed I download, but if I'm also seeding and doing work on the drive it'll occasionally be at 100% usage and drop speeds until the buffer is cleared.

I thought I told you this before, but Comcast's speedboost fucks with the speed tests.  It'll uncap your speeds for a certain duration, before dropping back to what it should be.

It makes speed tests look faster than they should.
