turbo manifold, which style?
« on: June 10, 2009, 05:22:13 AM »

i built the ramhorn on my car, but i was wondering if there was any gain to be had by going to a top mount, and specifically a twin scroll. the turbo is a HX35, which i know would have some benefit, but i guess im asking if it would be enough to put the time and effort into making another one. i was also thinking of sometime upgrading to something larger, such as a S362 or HX52??

also, what kind of "rules" need to be followed to make a successful twin scroll top mount? equal length is prolly more important in that style, at least compared to my ramhorm. any other tips would be appreciated.

Edit: Here is what i have, is there any advantage to changing my manifold? i was thinking of building a twin scroll top mount, with dual gates.
