i asked them for a job in the email conversation i was having with customer service.

I emailed and complained about it, and they offered me the $5 deal, so I chewed them out some more and haven't received a message back.

they got my email address, i've been receiving spam email cause they sold my email address. now they want me to pay $5 for a free subscription.

Err, I haven't received any spam.

May have been bait-and-switch, may have truly ran out since I didn't hear about it until it was posted on a deals website, so probably the entire population of china signed up that day, who knows.

I paid the $5...I spend that on cigs or the vending machine daily.

So in other words, you don't have the inventory until someone pays (when they were supposed to get it for free), then inventory magically appears.
