Take your shit somewhere, I have less problems from my Win7 machines than I do my Linux machine. Linux box, I run low on space, shit starts crashing and acting screwy, and I can't remotely log into it...Have to FTP and delete something, then can log in. Then, even if I do delete shit, Linux doesn't see it until I sudo reboot it. Have used it on/off for years and don't see what the big deal is. "Woo, I can go through extra hassle configuring it and getting drivers so I have a much more limited software catalog and driver support." Wooooo, nothx... It's good for use as a server, and that's all I use it for.
Win7 I brought down to 16KB and wouldn't have noticed if it didn't give me the "OMGZ LOW DISK SPACE!!1" message.

Doug - how were you "missing files" ? If you downloaded it from Microsoft (which is free, and they give you a valid serial), it's an ISO file and there's no way you can be missing files. I don't get why people download the torrents, if that's what you did.
BTW, I bought 10 DVD-RW from WalMart the other day for about $8. I don't use discs much and these will probably last me the rest of my life...good for burning ISOs.
