I currently own the blackberry World Edition 8830 and currently looking at upgrading it but first wanted to hear some user experience with either one, pros, cons.
Anybody owns either one? Btw, verizon is the carrier.

Is the storm the one where the screen clicks in? if so I tried it a few times in the store and its a pain in the ass to type on.

I personally like the Storm, I just refuse to pay $30 a month for shit I don't want just to own a WackBerry with VZW. I really like the Samsung Omnia and the new HTC phone they have too.

Not necessarily. I got a new phone about 8 months back and my contract wasn't up. I'm on the two year contract, but after a year I can get a new phone. If I wait two years though I get an additional $100 credit.

tour has a 3.2mp camera...and it trumps the storm...I've had the storm, curve and bold and sprint is sending me my Tour in the mail now...I love not having to pay for phones

Do tell? I would love a free phone lol I use to rock a Sprint PDA touch screen (forgot the model) back in like 05 with the hack to get free VZW interweb.

I will have gone with the iphone or something else if it was my personal phone. The space between the edges of the screen of the storm is kinda a turn off (don't wanna spend some times cleaning the bitch if dirt gather in it or something).

Anyway, I am leaning toward the Tour at the moment.

storm = garbage...went right back to the 8330 Curve after the storm...i threw the storm in a toilet then called CS and asked them if i could just get a curve in return...the person on the phone laughed and said "sure thing" then after that i canceled my verizon contract and stuck with sprint...i got great discounts with sprint and almost everything i get is free...plus i have done so many add ons to my phone lol...i went to sprint on wednesday of last week and the OS i had on my phone was higher then they had on their computers plus i have the Tour display on my curve and it has a gold case and yellow ball...they were tripping out lol

I have an 8330 curve and the wife has the storm. She likes it, but i really dont care much for touch screens.

Personally, Id get the tour, just cause its badass and isnt the storm.

Friend of mine had the storm for 4 mos. and just got the tour.. likes it a lot better. Even my GF's Bold owned the Storm.

Touch screen is cool in theroy.. not real life.
