S13 hatch KA24DET budget build

picked this up for $400 cash.. a little steep, but they are hard to find in this condition under $1200 around here

the hood isn't latched or bolted down for that matter.. it all lines up nice when it is








in need of a heart transplant


picked this up for $90.. guy said it shifts perfectly; he literally had a YARD FULL of 240's and parts, silvias, etc.


converting it from side feed to top feed..


Mike@LSD made me a clutch capable of 400tq on a budget  :evil:


the snail of choice: Holslut HX-35 12cm^2

for now it's going to be a stock KA24DE boosted around 10psi, tuned on NIStune using a daugherboard/emulator.. hopefully I can get JD out this way, otherwise i'll just pray I don't blow it up  :-\  should be good for 300whp 300tq as a daily driver. 

I'm being really picky about the motor, so I haven't found one yet. Looking for one I can test drive before I buy (harder than you would think). I go to Officer Candidate School in about 10 months, so it has to be done by then, hence no rod/piston build.

is that an eBay clutch? if so, man you should know better than that.. they paint oem replacement and put stage 9 label on it.

Spec paints OE replacement pressure plates and calls them Stage 4

I have a KA for sale 68K original miles, still sitting in my 98 240sx automatic... that motor will be coming out soon.. runs perfect
