WOW... haha... too much drama... First of all I'm not looking for any kind of sponsors... I'm just a college kid/dad trying to make it on 8 bucks an hour and still have a toy... I got the timing belt back on the car (I had the biggest problems when my screwdriver got SUPER STUCK between the flywheel and the housing) but got it all back together and it SOUNDS like it wants to start so bad but just keeps back firing. I adjusted the dizzy inch by inch and nothing. I'm about to give up and take it to the fucking dealership where I can dump 100+ for them to tell me its something stupid as fuck...

Looks like my head is fucked. I haven't pulled it off and taken a look yet but got the timing reset and new belt on and its still just cranking and backfiring. My buddy says its more than likely a bent valve. If so I'm just going to pull the motor and order a ZC... Unless someone knows where I can get a cheap OBD1 vtec ecu and dizzy?!?!?

Your buddy is a fucking dumbass. Bent valve equals the combustion chamber doesn't seal so you don't get any compression so the air-fuel can't ignite so you get no backfiring. It's out of time, or the firing order is wrong. Download a Helms manual for free, found in a sticky thread at the top of the Hybrid/Tech Forum, and figure it out yourself without your "buddy."

I have a prototype manifold that I made for a crx. I just love making one off manifolds for crx's. I have $125 in materials invested in it now. Would you happen to be interested? Its a sidewinder front face T6 manifold.

Let me know what's up. I can always run off a t6 - t3 adaptor plate for you as well. Its also set up for 4-44mm wastegates (1 for each runner v-band style)

4 wastegates insure no boost creep and optimum flow and control over them individually.

Ask apex. I did his top mount with 3 at the collector. I would of done 4 but he had no room for it. His times tell it all. 9.40 boosted by holset sohc.

Sounds like you need to figure it out yourself, because if you have three different people looking at it and it's not fixed then everyone involved is a fucking dumbass. Hondas are easy, dude. Check mechanical timing then if it's good do a compression test then if that's good so is your engine and it's in the distri butor timing or wiring.

FYI, if you disrespect Tom again you'll not be getting any further help from me. Don't fuck with Tom, or OCZC.
