Non-profits are going broke now too since no one is turning in their Junkers. My dad did that twice with his old beat up van and my brothers beat to hell Accord. the tax write off is pretty healthy well above what the cars were.

Simple this is just another social science project. Give it about a year and you will need a bailout of consumers out of these new cars.

have:

300-500 dollar monthly payments most likely the higher end of that number
100-200 for insurance per month for a new vehicle

They will have to do another bailout next year same deal since well we de-industralized this nation to the point of no return.
