I make decent money doing hourly wage plus my commission+$9 per billable hour that our techs work, which comes out to a couple hundred a day.  Single, living at home as of Monday because the landlord where I was renting apparently sold the place out from under me.  Was paying $1250/month in rent, $45/month bike insurance, $1,500 a month to track the bike, $80/month car insurance, and somewhere around $250-$300 a month in dog food for my pup. 21

I make good money, but the cost of living in this part of the country is high, and I am still paying for a failed business. That and the wife is going back to school in the fall, leaves me with not much left to play. I still am managing to be personally debt free (business debt is a separate issue), and have enough left over that I have a bit of savings at the end of each month.

With that being said I have been further ahead financially at earlier points in my life, but it will come around again.

I'm paid very well as a design/test engineer at my internship, which ends in a week and I go back to school for my final year. Right now I am paying rent for 2 apartments which sucks but one is a pretty cheap studio.

I make enough to pay the bills, get booze, and have enough left over for toys. No debt other than student loans fortunately.

was making 15.68/hr for the Park Service, going to grad school now though.  They're paying me 6200/semester for 20hrs of work a week as a research assistant.  Won't have to pay on student loans once I start school again, but fairly substantial debt between those and a decent size credit card balance, and I'm supporting my child by the demonbitchslut.  Got a kick ass girlfriend though.  Not much money for toys.  I'd have to get rid of the child or girlfriend for that.  Or get an extra job
