I heard it was good from sources I trust, plus the critics don't hate it.  Have any of you seen it or are planning on seeing it?

BTW, couldn't find an English version torrent... post it up if you come across one.  If it's good enough I might actually go to the theater.

Just saw it less than an hour ago.  Just got home.

It was fucking awesome.  Seriously.  Alien guns = people explode whole or their heads go pop.  The action was great and intense, story was a little shallow but still did the trick.

Highly recommend it.  The commercials and previews do not reflect the movie.  Its better than expected.

My local theater has a $5 club, most movies are eligible after they've been out for 2 weeks. If it isn't a movie I need to see right away (most aren't) then $5 is a great price.

What happened to those places that repped like 2 month old movies for like a buck. Those were awesome.

We still have one, Asheville Brew & View.  It's an old twin converted to a semi-lounge.  They offer $2 movies and most nights of the week the right hand theatre is playing Southpark or some shit on the big screen.  You can pimp out in a couch and drink beer, or shoot pool (in the right hand theatre, the left hand one has bar/food/couches but is set up more like a traditional dimly lit theatre).

I remember we had one. I use to always go as a kid. They were ones out of the main theater, then went to the $1 movie.

When I go to the movies now I usually just get a childs ticket or something, they never check. I remember when I was in high school the biggest theater in town at that time would have a skeleton crew working during the day in the summer. Would have two people inside that would be talking or something at the concession stand so I went a good couple of summer just walking in to free movies.

Local shitty mall theatre is $4 for adults, and now that I look at the site it's $2.50 per person on wednesdays. Movies are a few weeks/months older but whatever, its better than paying like $9+ at the other theatres. Only place I think that's okay to pay more is the drive in theatres, and thats only because you get to see 2 movies and it's the only one I know of around here.

What I got from it, something happened on the ship, there was no control, chaos.

Not really that they were alien-beaners, they just ran out of supplies, and had to go gangsta fight-or-die, kinda like teh ghetto life.

So did the alien die at the end? :P

Yeah, do you think that alien dude lived?  Doesn't really fucking matter, but I couldn't tell if he was on the edge of death, or just tired as fuck from having his face pounded.

Wonder if they'll make a sequel with the aliens coming back pissed off :P

Really doubt it, the director seems to be above that.

It already made it's money back and turned a profit opening weekend. There will be a sequel, I guarantee this.

Sequels aren't made on the basis of a good story, it's all about $$$
