Turbostd intro post
« on: March 11, 2009, 03:43:22 AM »

Well scene i don't think I ever had an official into post on the other one I thought I would make one here. My name is Chris I live in Niles Ohio (lol) Some of you may remember the tread i made about me selling a car to some moron that kept braking shit on it. My current rides include a 89 civic std hatch a 92 lx sedan and a 89 rs camaro. I also have a 90 geo metro but what good is that  :P I am slowly collecting parts to turbo one of the hondas. It will probably be the lx at this point because im too lazy to do the dpfi->mpfi on the std. I had another std a 91 a while back but some stupidity on my part and rust did it in so i scrapped it when I bought the 89. The std is all stock except for a megan racing header (lol) The lx has had a bunch of little stuff done to it. It started out auto but i have since converted it with an ex trans. The car also has a lower millage y7 in it that i swapped in when the hg popped on the b7 (284k mi hehe). I have probably 90% of the parts needed to turbo something but not having a job is killing me at the moment. I may end up turboing my camaro once I find out if the motor in it is any good or not. I put the car together 4 yr ago or so and the most i have driven it is around the block.

Old 91 std (RIP)

Stupid hood flew up at 70mpg getting on the highway one day I drove the car for another 6mo like this lolz

89 std I bought for $200 put a dizzy in it and drove home from Pittsburgh hehe car isnt as good as it looks in these pics now :(

Brown interior ftl!

89 camaro rs 350/350 no rust I bought it off my friend Matt for $100 after he pulled the motor and tranny out. He was pissed at it because it kept breaking trannys and rear ends

Can barly see the poor thing right now :( One of my first projects when it gets warm is to clean out the garage lol

I have some other cars and projects going on this spring/summer but have no pics right now so bah. I really need to get rid of some cars though there are 10 sitting at my tiny ass house :X

why would you not run it, it makes no sense. If there is a water cooled section it was designed to be run with it for cooling. Pretty sure garrett knows better then some fat guy in a accord. nbspnbsp :P
