best beater pickup for around 800-1500
« on: September 02, 2009, 01:10:00 AM »

ive said "shit you know anyone with a pickup?" too many times lately so im on the hunt for a new beater pickup,  what should i get for under 1500 ?    s10? ranger?  full size?   id prefer somthing i can drive and not have to stop at every gas station but can still pull a small trailer or boat once and a while .  i know tacomas are great or whatever but there spendy.   someone told me get a Jeep Comanche cause its the same inline 6 as the jeep but its a pickup.. if i was going by looks there all fuckin ugly but newer style s10s are the cheapest i guess

i googled this shit for like an hour or two all i find is faggots argueing that my truck will rip your truck in half .  i dont know shit about trucks and i dont even like them,  i just need to haul shit

Commanche - throw a crank sensor in it, make sure the cooling fan and clutch fan work, rape it

toyota pickups, and tacomas, are really good trucks.

I'd look at some rangers too. they're pretty decent.
