ok so im checking/adjusting the damn things. first time i checked, the all seemed rather tight. so i started fiddling with them. did 1,3,4,2. then i went back and checked 1 and it felt loose. wtf?

3 on the exhuast side was ridiculously tight when i first checked it.

ive done this before, and i dont remember it being this fucking complicated or going wrong. starting to wonder if the fucking tbelt is on right.

its a b18b.

I bought a passenger door both fenders and a front bumper for my crx last night for only $100.  The guy also has a gsr shifter should I go back and buy it. My car has a ebay piece on it and feels wierd to shift.

Make sure you're on the heel/base circle of the cam of the cylinder you're on...  

Dennis is just upset that he has to use jdm sidemarkers with his new kiwi green fenders...

Probably on the "lash ramp" since you are setting "valve LASH" don't ya think?

Factory service manual calls for setting lash at that position, thats where I always do mine, my car does not sound like a sewing machine so I must be doing something right.

I guarantee the OP was not turning the crank to adjust each set of valves.  I only know what he's talking about, because the first time I did it, I set it for cylinder 1, and went through all of the valves and set them to the right gap with it set for cylinder 1 the whole time.  Then it wouldn't turn over  :mexi:  :mexi:  :mexi:
