My new Ride, and my old one (few more pics)
« on: March 12, 2009, 08:12:25 PM »

Ok so i used to be in the car scene a few years ago and i ended up selling my turbo gsr hatch for dirt cheap.  got an 03 silverado 1500 and had it for a year, traded in for a crew cab silverado 2500hd and had it for just about 2 years and i just sold it today.  I picked this car up last weekend and so far i like it, completely stock except a rev/speed meter. The car isnt in too bad of shape for 20 years old.  seats are torn on bolsters and there door dings and scratch marks(looks like scratches are from keys)

stock everything, power windows/mirrors.  Glass roof and a ITR wheel.  My plans are to try to keep it stock and restore it a little and eventually get body/paint work done.  Hoping to find another car to DD so this one can sit and collect dust.  88k original miles  :noel:

Here she is

and pictures of my old car/truck/bike

and a video that ryan89crx took when we took it to the dyno...

yea the guy who owned it previously lived in everette area and got laid off from boeing.  I dont think ive seen mr franks car that you guy were talking about, does anybody have any pictures?

So far ive ordered stanley oem fog lights/gold Rota J mags/dynomax super turbo muffler and full 2.25 mandrel bend exhaust.  Im thinking about getting some leather rsx seats instead of getting the crx seats re-apolstered  (sp).

And as far as turbo.... i want to turbo this car real bad but it still has AC! lol and power steering.

Yea but the crx seats that are in them right now are pretty nice as well, leather with cloth in the middle, they are just a little torn up for my liking

Well i cant afford mugen wheels nor do i have patience to look for some.  Jmags are IMO one of the best looking rota wheels, other than the Beats, but i didnt like the color choices.

Gold jmags with polished lip, 15x7 with a 40mm offset should look pretty good

I'm gonna sound like a fag here.  But do not modify that car in any way, leave it as stock as you can.  It will be worth a ton of money in a few years and anything you do to it will detract from its value.

its got steelies with teggy caps, so the wheels are an upgrade

it used to have a fartcan, which the previous owner cut off at the rear suspension, so it definitely needs exhaust. he feels the same way about it being stock, and i help push that as well ;)

Thats why i would like to get another car and let this one sit.  Im all about getting the stock seats redone but shelling out about 2k bucks to do so just really isnt worth it, id rather have other OEM honda seats.  As far as wheels go anything is better than the steelies.  Im all about keeping this as stock as possible
