Yep, 3" piece of exhaust pipe, capped each end, drilled 2 holes and welded some steel 1/2 fpt ports, and drilled 1 hole on one end for a breather.

Which models?

This is in addition to my Kenwood KDC X915.  I have a small collection of car audio stuff from mid 90s-early 2000s era.

Also have an Xtant 202m, Xtant 121m, and a MB Quart QM series 6.5 component set.

There is lots of other equipment I would like to acquire too.

i have a little collection of older car audio shit from the late 90s early 00s

i have 2 eclipse decks, i cant remember the numbers, i think the one is 5504, 8v dead head, and also another 5v dead head with 6 disc in dash changer, a US amps 400x (the big bitch), one of the first memphis belles, the very first year resonant engineering XXX with the XBL^2 motor, bought from scott altwell, the original owner of RE, and now of FI. i also have some old ass rockford amps, they are tiny, like 25 watt amps.

thats all i can think of right now...

impulse buys??? does a tune for my car count? i didnt really plan on getting it done cause i was supposed to be out working, but happened to be home when the man came up...

They sell an 11.1v pack to go with the brushless up grade...

you'll have to get a servo n receiver too:

My Brushless Losi Micro Desert Truck

I'm happy with running a brushed motor on the 7.4 pack...

Holy shit darkelvis sighting, had people asking me where you got off to recently.

Foowee: pricy for the size only if they break like the larger ones do.

Mass...  I kartwheel mine on a regular basis.  They don't weigh anything so they rarely break anything.

I've broken the tie rods on my dt and replaced them with zip ties.  That ended up being a good thing because it upped the spring rate in the front end making the truck jump level.  Haven't broken anything on the dt since...

The micro t that I have jumps level so I just make the tie rods for it out of leftover lexan from trimming bodies for my 1/10 cars...

oh and I had to replace a diff in the micro t after I put the 7.4 pack in it...  donuts n plastic diffs don't get along.  I think that was like $8...

Just like anything else where "you got to pay to play." Cost can be directly offset with knowledge...

There's one more issue I have w/them...  I get hair wound up in the axles n wheels .  It takes some patience to deal with the e-clips that hold the wheels on(or you can use body clips like me).  I don't think you'll have this problem though  :P...

The alternative to threaded axles:
