the people in his hood are most likely poor, have nothing to live for violence is all they live.
on the other hand this guy has a lot going for him, not poor educated, and a lot of people look up to him. so it makes me wonder why he did this. remember I am in the military so it affect me different than it may others who are not. we are currently doing a SRP right now also think about if you or your wife was in the same building as this fool. both me and my wife work in a environment like this. my wife is a chaplain secretary, and I work in mail distriibution, we both deal with incomming and outgoing deployments.

I think you may be misinformed. I have a very close friend that had 2 B & E charges and he's now in the Army's infantry. He was convicted, not an opt out given by the judge.

PTSD dont drive you to kill your comrades.
I've suffer from PTSD, up to 2 years after Iraq, I still get flash backs today.
I lost a lot of close friends. lost 5 in one day I was also on the recovery mission to pull them out of the rubble after they were killed by a suicide bomber at a iraqi police station, I've seen soldiers killed inches away from me shocked it could have been me, but it never drove me to kill my own people, to me this type of PTSD would make you wanna go to war for revenge. I lost a total of 7 friends 1 of them to non combat reasons in a combat zone during OIF2 , not to mention people that I know that got killed in combat or suicide due to PTSD, ptsd almost cost my marriege to end because of my depression, alcohol abuse, and anger (my wife never understand), but it never cost me to think about killing my comrades, I am a E6 not an officer the only college I have is in automotive. so this who is psycologyst masters. blaming is snap on ptsd dont buy me. FUCK HIM and I hope they hang him. this shit bag is who I go to to help me with my mental issues. what do you think this do to people who look up to this guy?

Man i live like 8 minutes away from fort hood. I was in killeen driving around when all that shit started happening. They close off all the schools like ctc and blocking off every entrance to fort hood. It was all over the news. There were medivac flights taking off all over the place and flying everywhere. Cops were flying down the road from all the neighboring cities just to help with it. And at first they told everybody that the shooter was dead, i think it was cuz they didn't want a bunch of pissed off rednecks loading up all there guns and headed over to take care of that fucker. It was wierd seeing something that makes national news like this at home. I could have been standing in line behind this guy at walmart when he snapped. Pretty scary when shit like this happens at home.

So your saying he has some kind of third person PTSD? Fuck, that's some stupid shit right there.

He was never deployed. he was GOING to be deployed, therefore, you can't have POST traumatic stress disorder.

This story is fucked in several dimensions. First of all, why weren't the MP's armed? Who disarmed them? A civilian cop took this guy down, a women none-the-less?

The real question is who was asleep at the wheel in the government? how was it that this fucking traitor allowed to carry this out and no one connected the dots leading up to it? E-mails? cleaning out his apartment? shady ties?

He should be tried for treason, death penalty, and no appeals. fuck appeals

Except in a firing squad, like 10 people line up. 1 with a bullet and 9 with blanks. All aim for the same spot and all pull the trigger at the same time.

The guy was a muslim extremest. Not sure how it is in the Army but in the Marine Corps we were taught that anyone acting crazy should be reported/acted on. From whats being reported, this guy "cried for help" for a long ass time. IMO, with whats being presented online and the TV, this guy had potential to be stopped long before this happened if someone would have had the balls to report his stupid ass.

the reason why he get by without trouble is because in our county's political correctness, we cannot bust a mother fucker out for being a dick licker terrorist. especially after 9/11 we felt bad because of the way we treated middle eastern people , we try to do right by treating them as one by making a suspicious ARAB get away with their shit. these motherfuckers cannot be trusted how many times are going to get betrayed before we reallized this, I think all their security clearance should be voided, and put a cap on the highest level they can make (like E-4) better yet they should be required a top secret investigation at their own expense before they can enlsit. predjudice yes! but it saves lives. this makes me so angry I don't think anything in the world can calm me down.
