i made 300whp and shitlaods of tq on a stock 130k ABA bottom end, and O2A trans (Peloquin LSD)... if i remember right that was at 14psi on the dyno, was run up to 17+ a couple times. took a fuckin beating also. solid dirty 2nds.

I am on hardcore, but I have been out of vw's for quite awhile, and never did post much, I posted more back when it was the old hardcore. Same screen name. I built my 87 4 door golf back in 1999 - 2000 ish I was living in the lower mainland, and had a buddy that did the digi 1 tuning thing. I ran a 60-1. I only had it together for 3 months before I sold it. In that time I cracked 2 stock pistons, broke two transmissions (as mentioned above), 6 cv's, and a head gasket early on when we tried to spray it. Yes we did the ghetto stacking head gaskets.

It was one of those community cars that everyone had a piece of this and a piece of that, and that car is what we came up with. I never made it to the track with it, but it did well at both the chilliwack and roberts bank street drags. Won enough $$$ to keep it running.

i don't even know if it will be totaled yet... but you've got dibs if it is. it's a south bend "faggot stage 4" if you're into stages... good for at least 500 ft pounds.
