I have a question for you all since you are all so turbo smart. Do you think James (JFK78) drives his car on the street with his 580whp tune on it?? I dont think so. So why would you expect anyone else to do so?
Funny you should mention that. We were out on the street with the Supra earlier, 25 psi on a 76mm turbo with a 100 shot to lock up the torque converter feels pretty decent. I drove Trav-ASS' Integra more than he did, he used to leave it at my house for months at a time and it was a 500 whp pumpgas car. Last time I street tuned a 10 second car it was in Charlotte at 3AM the night before an event, no plates with a 'chute hanging off the back, which is beside the point only if you don't realise that a large number of us here really don't give a fuck and roll like that all of the time.
With how mild the torque production is on a D-series, james should be able to hook 580 on the street in the upper gears. If he doesn't take his car out in that trim... all I can say is shame on him.
