BTW, n00b, there's a big fucking difference between knowing Jeff Frank and being Jeff Frank. I don't recall him emotionally flipping his shit on public forums and making womanish scenes. No one did anything to my car in any sort of way besides tuning it, and helping me figure out a fuel issue. Actually my buddy built me a catch can too, simply because I don't have a TIG.
I have been doing everything myself since 1996 when I got my first Civic, I haven't and will never take my car to ANY shop for ANYTHING, that is part of the love I have for cars, I love making something from nothing. When there is shit I don't know how to do like tuning or the random fuel issue I cannot figure out on my own, thats what friends are there for, to help. I would do the same for them if they were stumped on something. I have blown up alot of shit in my quest for mastery, and i'm sure I have alot more to go. Some people go to college to learn this shit, some people do what I call "on the job training". They both end up costing about the same, but the later is more fun.
I never said my build was something for the record books, am I proud of it? yes. Do I think its something to write home about? no. All I said is that it probably makes around double the power of the shitbox A6 in his avatar, and it probably does. They asked me to post a build thread, I gave them what they wanted.
I take alot of pride in building cars, and when I get bashed for trying to add my opinion on a topic it fucking pisses me off. My life has revolved around Honda's for the past 12 years, pathetic I know but it is what it is.
Of course I am going to take offense when someone like Ochoa, who is 21 years old and basically a Noob himself with a little over 200 posts under his belt, makes a smartass remark toward me.
JD I got a little lippy with you because you come off like a cock sucker. I know you are intelligent and have alot of good insight to bring to conversations, but you do it in such a shitty manner it puts people on defense mode and no one takes you seriously when they think you are degrading them.
And I have seen Jeff make a scene in public, all over a female. Everyone has their bitchlike moments, mine just happened to be today.
