I usually get a screw driver, stick it in under the end away from the baro sensor (closest to the ecu a/b/d connector), then use the center case divider for leverage. Lever it halfway out, then use your fingers to get the rear out to prevent bending pins. It might be one of the machined sockets, they tend to hold the chip very secure.

BTW if you take a picture from at least a foot further away, we'd see it. You can clearly make out the seam in the person's jeans, and they're probably 2 yards away.

Just use a small screwdriver.  That is $9 bucks that could be spent on your car.

Back in the day alot of the ecu guys would actually use super glue on the eprom this was back in the late 90's so people couldnt jack there bin files since all you could do back then was copy another persons proggie. Still wonder what the hell PYRacing was using back then

I was with some guys last summer talking about a factory honda race car from the mid 90's "bone was there" and they mentioned some people actually having the access to the actual HONDA editing software. They were going to sale one of there old race engines and let them have the chip but only if he agreed to burn it only and not edit or share it with anyone.
