Koni's have been in racing since jesus was a cowboy. All the top SCCA autocrossers run them. You can rebuild them , and they aren't made in Cambodian Opium dens.

Well, you have to send them into Koni, but yes they are rebuildable.

Bilsteins would be the hot ticket if you knew enough to setup your own valving.  Super easy to mod OTS HDs to make them serviceable.

got them for dirty cheap, i wouldnt buy them new. plus ksport offers re-valving which matches koni's price.

i thikn they will last since i dont plan on DUMPING my car like most people, if they blow out during auto-x or while being a dumbass, just send them in to be valved and will be good for another couple of years

i bought them at a cambodia price, i guaranty once they blow i could just preload them until they are stiffer then all hell and sell them on HT for more then i payed sir

Mine have been dumped, jacked, been thru 3 years of hell and they still work excellent.

I dont think trevors ksports were blown either

cusco zero1 R with a 800-600 rate...and match that with some potenza RE-11's or direzza star specs.


I cant believe no one has mentioned these 2 other items that should be considered with top end suspension. Brakes and tires.

which model of ksport are you looking at? It looks like they only offer a 36way adjustable suspension? Jesus. After year of driving insane in the streets, where suspension, tires and brakes was the key to driving, I never made adjustments. -and 36 points...that just doesn't make sense to me.

Koni and GC have been proven over and over again. If I were to purchase suspension tomorrow for a car that needed suspension, I would buy koni/gc combo.

btw, I have a hookup at the tire rack if you are interested. ;)
