Police called me at 3h50am to tell me my car was stollen. They puirsuit the guy that was driving it for I don't know why.

My car was parked at my parent's house until january. Because I didnt have the time to change my alternator and my parents gave me a sunfire while it is there.

THE CAR HAS NO FUCKING BATTERY IN IT!! GOD DAMN IT!

Police should be at my father's house soon. I'll have more detail after that...

I was 6 month at Montreal (city of stollen cars) with this car and never had problem.

2 months in the village of laplaine and the car is gone wtf....

wouldn't surprise me if they had a fully charged battery with them. tweeker thieves up here (seattle) have been known to carry ecu's, batteries, plug wires, and all other types of shit with them.

i'm more shocked they had a spare battery with them...kinda hard to walk around with that without being noticed. i'd have to guess it was someone who knew the situation of the car

So I have more details.

It was really a high speed pursuit. The car had an accident then the guy run in the forest and they got him there.

I don't know how the car is but it was accidented on the front of the car. It sucks....

With luck the manifold and turbo will be ok. Only thing that worth something on this pile.

Anyway, I'lll see what's going on with that tomorrow.

Why would someone carry around a fucking battery when stealing a car, my guess is that they already tried and the car didnt crank over. Came back with a battery.

i had that happen once years ago when i was living downtown hamilton.  my room mate woke me up because the police were on the phone to tell me they had recovered my car.  i didn't even know it had been stolen.

fortunately all that was gone were the seats and a couple tools.  i made out pretty good with the insurance... the replacement seats were in even better condition than the ones i had in the car.

too bad about the car , now go rape the ins. co. for all they will give up. If the car is a write off, pay 2 friends to list cars in the autotrader in your region, both somewhat identical to yours. Tell them to ask a lot more for the car (but not outrageous) , then when the ins. co. wants to pay out some pee ass amount cite the ads in Trader.  Careful with mods being listed as they could just tell you to fuck yourself on the whole sha bang a bang.

If you get it back  Tell them the motor is shot and get a dealer to quote a replacement for it, then buy the car from the ins. co for $300 and high fives all around.  When I helped a friend do this on another car we just turned the distributor until the car knocked like a mofo, adjuster bought it on the spot and authorized $6000 for a $2500 Shit pile mustang.

That's how shit was stolen from my house. They put a new set of MSD spark plug wires onto it, and left it there when they ditched the car.

So I got my car back. The good news is the turbo, manifold, even the intercooler is in one piece. The bad news is that the car is all fucked top... They broke inition, broke passager window, the motor doesnt start, an so on...
