there was a guy that owns a diesel power shop up here that has a full on 1ton dodge truck that was out at the track last year running low 12's. Verry impressive to see a 6000lb truck pull low 12's and shoot a perfect 6" cloud of exhaust 60' when he leaves the line.

With a solid EFI live tune on a stock turbo, you can get a 12.9 out of it, won't do it many times on a stock tranny, but it has been done.

They do, and while nearly indestructible at stock power level's get them near 500hp, and you will be able to make them slip.

LOL, I have seen a legit 12.9 pass out of straight#2 on an LBZ (factory 360bhp, 6 speed) crewcab 4x4 duramax with just EFI live. He had clamped the rear springs and dropped the torsion bars a bit. Mirrors folded in, and it had a cap on the bed. Brake boosted at the line. It is still one of those things that you can only do once or twice, and then your tranny is cooked.
