Just wondering how you like it. The major differences between Tiger and Leopard, and I really don't know what Time Machine and Spaces are yet. Any insight would be appreciated. Gracias.

the worse thing to do is to go into the mac store and use the zoom function on all the macs. it pisses off the people playing on them and they all walk out and the mac "geniuses" dont know how to solve it.

I challenge you to find a recording studio with any clout that doesn't run mac. I used to say the same bullshit until I bought one. My question was about running Leopard. Didn't care to debate.

Lol  macbook pro user here, frankly I like macs but I don't look down on pc users.I'd love to build a hackintosh sometimes. Who cares anyway what machine you use, use what works and you're happy about using. Period.

About Leopard: it works better and faster on a network than tiger, has better interaqction with pc's. Spaces is great, i have all web apps on one and graphic apps on another, much less clutter. Quick look is quite useful too. Haven't tried Time machine and I won't—takes too much bloody space. I make my own backups... sometimes

Down: a bit slower graphic performance. I took out all the annoying visual interface stuff with Tinker tool.

All in all it's an improvement but I'm happy Snow leopard's going to be focused on better performance. Enough visual candy already, imo.

I put apple OSX on my dell laptop for my girlfriend.. it's so much nicer than windows for just regular user functions, and it's really clean and lavish. I have dual boot into windows when I need to tune though

my desktop uses UBUNTU and windows

the SINGLE greatest thing about OSX is the security behind it. you don't have all the vulnerabilities to all the bullshit spyware/malware/etc. when just browsing the web. No Active X bullshit downloading just from loading a webpage. I've never had to reformat my Hackintosh running OSX Leopard, Windows? nigger please.. i reformat windows  AT LEAST annually.

you are a fucking tool. macs are exploited in the hacking world FASTER and more abundantly than pc's. they have the worst security holes and they dont often get fixed.

mac is NOT a great pc for multimedia. tell me how many macbook pros have dual sli configurations, or have really great sound cards built in? NONE. EVERYONE in the industry goes with pc. want to see how many movies are made on wintel boxes VS macs? oh, and what happens if your shit breaks? o well, your fucked.
