a "good cop" thinks because some assholes made up a phony law its right, and they enforce it.
get it into your head. the nuremberg defense IS NOT VALID. just because they were "following orders" DOES NOT EXONERATE THEM.
THEY ARE GUILTY.
the war on drugs has made you less safe by a huge margin, prohibition does not work. cops can't keep child molesters out of your neighborhood. they can only punish them after they do their crime. cops can not keep you safe.
you might change your mind when your house is raided on accident because some cops made up a phony informant that said they smelled drugs walking past your house
just because they enforce a law doesn't mean it isn't bogus. they are being paid to do a job. what are they guilty of? following SOPs? even if it may be a bullshit law, they have to provide for a family, and that is there means for doing so.
i don't feel the war on drugs has made me less safe. Is keeping dealers off the streets is making it worse? i fail to see the logic in that.
i might change my mind if that was to happen, but it hasn't so I'll be set in my ways for now, until I see a reason to change my opinion.
to think any of the 3 cops who died deserved it is ludicrous. its like saying firemen deserve to die in a house fire.
some people (you) are just sheep and nothing will change your mind until you're sitting in prison.
they are guilty of violating the Constitution of the united states, and most likely the constitution of their state.
if they have to provide for their family they should get a real job, but the typical LEO is a pathetic loser who can't make it in the real world and gets a job with the govt because they cannot do anything else.
do you think dealers would be in the streets shooting each other over territory if drugs were legal? do you see liquor store owners doing this? during prohibition THEY DID. when govt makes something illegal it creates a bunch of criminals. is it really that hard to understand? victimless crimes are BOGUS. they are social engineering power plays.
the war on drugs is a failure, and it has made this country EXTREMELY violent. the same way prohibition did.
government is not your friend, it is a necessary evil that must be kept in check at all times and as small as possible.
your analogy is idiotic, firemen don't go into a burning house to punish it for doing something someone else says is wrong, even though they never hurt anyone.
you'll wake up one day...
