Title: Economy sucks 92 paseo build
Post by: fearsomedan on March 25, 2009, 05:42:42 PM: I'm doing a budget rhmt kit on a 92 paseo. I will post pics as I progress. This is my daily driver so it must remain drivable as much as possible. Boost first, maybe home painted rustoleum paint or cheap body shop paint job, some nice aluminum wheels and that will be all. No body kits or audio ice.

I will be making my own plug and play harness for the emanage. I hope to get close to 200hp at the wheels. I hope to retain power steering and ac.

I welded it on myself.
I will be running 3 inch exhaust when I get the turbo on so I figure i can cut the inlet off, drill the opening out to 3 inch and insert the pipe.

If I got to pull this motor, It would be for something like a 5e block with 5efhe rods and 4efte pistons. A cheap throw together, but I don't intend to blow this motor anytime soon and also, I wouldn't feel right swapping for an engine of lesser displacement.

I then took the ecu apart, cut the connector out of that and this is what I'll be using to make the plug and play harness. All I need is some heat shrink and time to solder.

Not yet. The chinese t380 is still available. I might take it and at the very least, I can have another cdm turbo failure thread.

I haven't bothered to try to find any. The turbo will be the only performance add on that I will do to it.

I went ahead and picked up a wiring diagram from my job and found that the pin out for the ecu was different than the one I was using that I found online. The one online and from the greddy instalation manual was close except for 2 wires which I had to switch over. The car started on the first try and it ran pretty decent. I wanted to post up the maps, but I did not know how. I still need to get a wideband when money allows me to. I think I will gather the turbo items and make the manifold first.

Test fit. I will probably go with a civic half radiator. If not, I will put some kind of shielding on this radiator.
