Fuck if Trevor would get off his lazy unemployed ass, and get some internet he could tell us exactly where the hx-35 12cm spools on a vitara setup. I am quite sure though he gets 15psi by 4k.

Well Trevor is making 20psi by 4k. So I think a 12cm might not be to bad on this thing.

Pretty pumped that the original build thread is back up. Sold the car in january, bought a dc shell took all the stuff from my crx and am in the process of putting it on my dc.

While its at the top, how well did that rad do?
My half rad isn't cutting it in my integra, I always wanted to go this route since the half rad doesn't fit for shit anyway.

The vw radiator worked very well with no intercooler in front of it. Once i shoved my ic in front of it it would get warm. Now with that said, my ic has very tight fins on it. It lets almost no air through. And what little air does get through is not moving at the speed u need to get through a radiator. So if u had a tube and fin It would probably work great. Or a loose fin cdm style one. My bar plate style kills tje airflow. My rad and ic were smacked up again each other too because o had no more room. So in your case I'm sure u can move the ic forward and the rad back to at left draw some air in from somewhere else. Abaz has this exact setup in his crx that beau put on and it has no problem keeping cool. I really think tjat it was my ic that was the problem. Also jacer63 has a buddies car that he did this on and had great results with it too.

Yeah i'm sure my ic is the main problem too.
Its some chinaman bar plate thats too fucking big but its what I had and was cheap.

I think I'll do this anyway and in the mean time try and trade my ic to someone local for a shorter one.

I also may try to shroud mine a little different.
Basically not block any of the core, but block 100% between the rad and body so all air has to go through the rad.
Then add a fan from a taurus or whatever the hot cheap slimfan was everyone was grabbing.

Still a good write up.

No, it sucks with those style ICs, too. 

Don't block the radiator.  It's that simple.  Do you have flow across the radiator, y/n?
