Ostrich 1.0 not working after changing to new batteries
« on: April 27, 2009, 12:21:16 PM »

So, I replaced the batteries yesterday in my ostrich and now it doesn't work. I can connect it to my laptop, and it says it's connected and recognizes is as some sort of USB device. When I open the firmware updater(i've been using 10.3.A, wanting to change to 10.12.O) its not detected. So now I obviously can't tune with it as it won't connect to Crome either. Lucky for me, I have an extra ostrich(which batteries I've already replaced without issue).

Any one have ideas as to what I can do to fix this issue?

So I went to their support site and have come to the conclusion that my ostrich needs to be RMAed, whatever that means.

I've emailed them, hopefully it can be fixed.

It must be bc you're white. They answered me within 5 minutes.

Yes, com ports are correct. I have both Ostriches working on the same port.

I just got back from sending my Ostrich out tho. Hopefully it will come back working.
